Baby Turtle Raku Keepsake

A rounded raku keepsake glowing with copper, rose and blue, topped with a sculpted baby sea turtle on a dark lid.

Each raku piece is hand-glazed and fired, so the colors and crackle patterns on yours will be completely its own.

It holds 40 cubic inches, a portion of ashes, so family members can each keep a part of their loved one close.

A velvet bag can be added as an option on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does this keepsake hold?

It holds 40 cubic inches, a portion of an adult's ashes. Keepsakes like this let several family members each keep a part of their loved one, or sit alongside a main urn.

What is raku pottery?

Raku is a firing technique where pottery is taken from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed in combustible material. The smoke and rapid cooling create the metallic colors and crackle patterns that make each piece unique.

How do I care for a ceramic keepsake?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and keep it on a stable surface away from busy areas. Avoid water and cleaners, which can dull the glaze.

How quickly will my order ship?

Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff ship the next business day. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
